The Atiku Care Foundation has described former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as an uncommon and compassionate leader whose devotion to the welfare of Nigerians remains peerless.
This is contained in a statement marking the 74th Birthday anniversary of Wazirin Adamawa as signed by the organisation’s Deputy Director, Media and Publicity, Remi Adebayo in Abuja on Wednesday.
The organisation noted that as an elder statesman, its Grand Patron has displayed love through the humanitarian interventions of the ACF in alignment with the gesture and passion of the ex-VP in alleviating poverty and illiteracy among the downtrodden.
“Through the ACF, Your Excellency has demonstrated to all that everyone can lend support and give hope for another to stand on their feet. It is a lesson we have learnt over the years by emulating your selfless formal and informal life as a coach; we have imbibed this and will continue to sustain those virtues,” the statement read.
The ACF expressed gratitude to God for blessing the former Vice President with divine health, wisdom and kind heart.
“On this occasion, we are most grateful to God for blessing our nation with such a man gifted with human kindness and compassion to care for the forgotten, the downtrodden and vulnerable among our people.
“Without being immodest, the nation is proud to have such a frank, detribalized, perceptive and unrelenting leader whose singular concern remains the manifestation of a functional and working Nigeria.
“We are not surprised, that as a global business and national leader, you keep labouring to stimulate innovations to resuscitate our failing economy and freely offering pragmatic initiatives to the Government regardless of party differences,” the ACF stressed.
The Foundation noted that at 74, Atiku remains firm in mentoring generations of patriots mandated to building national values that can be showcased on the international scene as assets.
“Sir, we salute your steadfastness, particularly the love towards the economic and human capital development of our dear nation which is exceptional,” the statement read.
The group prayed the almighty to grant the celebrant continued health and inner peace while asking God to bless him with longer and fulfilling years.
