Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has explained that the clause ‘waiving sovereignty’ in the loan agreement between Nigeria and China is only a contract term, a sovereign guarantee that assures payback according to the terms and conditions of any loan.
