The Bayelsa State government has announced the cancellation of the statewide environmental clean-up exercise earlier scheduled to hold on Saturday, July 30, 2022
The State government in a press statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Bayelsa State Governor, Mr Daniel Alabrah explained that the decision was informed by the need to enable all eligible residents of the state that are yet to get their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) do so before the Independent National Electoral Commission’s Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) deadline expires on Sunday, July 31, 2022.
The governor however urges all residents of the state to continue to keep their surroundings clean.
