The Bayelsa West PDP Campaign Organisation has swift into action by inaugurating the various campaign sub-committees to further mobilize support for former Governor Seriake Dickson’s senatorial ambition for the forthcoming senatorial by-election in Bayelsa State.
Hon. Fynman Wilson while inaugurating the Bayelsa West PDP Campaign Organisation said, former Governor Dickson has represented the senatorial district well previously as a member of the House of Representatives before his election and re-election as Governor of Bayelsa State, so giving him the senatorial seat to represent them will be an opportunity for him to consolidate on the achievements already made in his senatorial district.
Hon. Fynman who quoting Governor Douye Diri while describing former Governor Seriake as a “perfect fit to represent Bayelsa West in the Senate”, noting the the former governor will win his senatorial election and represent the district and the Ijaw nation well.
Hon. T. K. Okorotie and other stakeholders pointed out his laudable land mark achievements in infrastructure to include the Sagbama/Ekeremor Senatorial Road, building of referral hospitals in Ekeremor, Boarding schools with free scholarships for indigent students, appointment of several people of Peretorugbene Community into various political and leadership positions.
