‘Buhari Makes Nigeria Most Dangerous Country In The World For Christians’

0

By Bayo Oluwasanmi

Indigenous People of Biafra led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has presented a compelling case to the world for the creation of the Republic of Biafra. The Biafra issue is giving President Muhammadu Buhari sleepless nights.

The success of IPOB so far is making Aso Rock jittery. It’s no more politically expedient for Aso Rock to remain silent and dismiss the IPOB as an irrelevant and outlawed organization. Indeed, IPOB has successfully convicted Buhari in the world court of public opinion that Buhari aids and abets Fulani Islamists terrorists who are behind Christian genocide in Nigeria. It’s no surprise that one of Buhari’s propagandists, Garba Shehu, hurriedly cobbled a press release denying that Christians in Nigeria are being killed by Fulani jihadists.

The US Congress Report titled ‘Nigeria Shadow Report To The African Commission On Human And Peoples’ Rights’ is telling: “President Buhari has made Nigeria the most dangerous country in the world for Christians… Hundreds of thousands are routinely plundered, tortured, or killed with impunity by Nigerian security forces controlled and populated by Buhari’s tribesmen; often in collaboration with Fulani herdsmen Islamist terrorist group.”

No sensible Nigerian is buying the fabrication dished out by Shehu. It’s a common knowledge since Buhari became president that Christians are being slaughtered like cows by Fulani savages. Buhari is well known for his contempt for the truth and scorn for the law. No lie is too obscene for the aging despot because it serves his lusts for power. Therefore, let no one be fooled by the propaganda sheet written by Shehu in defense of Buhari.

At a time when blood of Christians in Nigeria is flowing like River Niger, Buhari as President stands idly by superintending the massacre of Christians. Christian Post, citing a 14 March 2019 press release by the UK based charity Christian Solidarity Worldwide, says “At least 120 people have died since 9 February in a series of attacks by Fulani militia on communities in Adara chiefdom of southern Kaduna.

International Committee on Nigeria a research group that reports on terrorism in Nigeria, says March 24, 2019 Fulanis killed at least 20 people in predominantly Christian villages. On March 2, they had kidnapped eight Christians in raids on a mission station.

An estimated 1,000 Christians were murdered in 2019 alone for their faith. Some 6,000 of them have been killed since 2015. On January 30, 2020, Christian Solidarity International issued a genocide warning for Nigeria. “The conditions for genocide exist in Nigeria, with Christians… being particularly vulnerable.” “CSI therefore calls on the permanent members of the U.N. Security Council to take swift action to uphold this commitment to genocide prevention in Nigeria.”

During Buhari’s visit to the US, President Trump raised the issue of Christian persecution in Nigeria. “We’ve had very serious problems with Christians who have been murdered, killed in Nigeria,” Trump said with Buhari seated next to him. “We’re going to be… working on that problem very, very hard because we can’t allow that to happen.” Father Joseph Bature Fidelis of the Diocese of Maiduguri laments that “Every day our brothers and sisters are slaughtered on the streets.” His statement followed the abduction of four young seminarians in the city of Kaduna.

It’s not difficult to see why the Buhari Muslim dominated administration approves and applauds Christian genocide. It’s part of the overall grand design to Islamize Nigeria. As a Sunni jihadist, Buhari believes in changing the political and social structure of Nigeria. He’ll do anything to create an Islamic Nigeria. Though Nigeria is not a Muslim nation, northern Muslims had dragged Nigeria to join the membership of Organization of Islamic Countries.

As a devout Sunni Muslim, Buhari believes in the supremacy of Sharia law. In a speech at a seminar organized by the Supreme Council of Sharia in Nigeria, August 2001, Buhari declared: “I will continue to show openly and inside me that total commitment to the Sharia movement that is sweeping all over Nigeria… God willing we will not stop the agitation for the total implementation of the Sharia in the country.”

Nigeria is a failed state plagued by inept rulers, corruption, socio-economic problems, ethnic rivalry and acrimonious rancour. Agitation for separation is not from Igbos alone. Yorubas are calling for the Oduduwa Republic. Buhari’s blatant nepotism in favour of his Fulani clan, alienation and dissatisfaction among the various constituents of the Nigerian federation have exacerbated agitation for break up. As things continue to fall apart in this long troubled nation, the centre cannot hold. Break up is assured!

Rivers APC Crisis: Your Judgement Is Strange, Unconstitutional, Horrific And Unacceptable, Eze Tells Justice Omereji

Says imposing a stranger on a party as Chairman is miscarriage of Justice
… Describes Aguma as Wike’s lackey, mole in APC
…Appeals to party faithful for calm, describes ‘setback’ as a strengthening process

A palpable gloom of apprehension plainly saturated the entire civil society and political atmosphere in the city of Port Harcourt and environs on 9th June, 2020 given a High Court ruling which defiled all known tenets of democracy and principles of natural Justice to impose leadership on the Rivers APC, an act which legal barons, political watchers, interest groups and people of goodwill have severally described as alien to the jurisprudence of civil action and a log on the wheel of Justice delivery.

Reacting to the ugly situation, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and former National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New People’s Democratic Party (nPDP), Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, said the judgement which declared a former House of Reps member and Gov. Wike’s ardent ally, Igo Aguma, as interim Chairman of the Rivers State All Progressives Congress, is but a manifestation of a clandestine attempt and satanic collaboration to sniff life off the party in the state by leaving it in perpetual crisis.

In a statement made available to media houses, the party chief said the judgement may have been displayed on the judge’s shelf and subsequently handed in favour a corrupt bidder who curries favour with some evil collaborators who are hell bent on wrecking the party in a bid to giving a leeway for the continuous occupation of the PDP in the brick house beyond 2023.

Recall that two matters relating to the Rivers APC crisis were dispensed by a Port Harcourt High Court presided over by Justice Omereji, who assumed jurisdiction, despite several issues raised on his competence to entertain the matter on grounds of bias.

Dele Moses & 9 Ors. had approached the court to declare them authentic candidates for the party’s congresses in the state.

While Hon. Igo Aguma, on the other hand had gone to court, challenging the composition of the caretaker committee for the party in the state.

In his ruling, Justice Omereji granted all prayers of Dele Moses & Ors., to the effect that only those who bought forms to contest in the 2018 congresses of the APC in the state should be allowed to participate in any fresh congresses whenever it is rescheduled and interested party members wishing to vie for any position are barred from doing so, a decision which Eze said is a rape on the constitutional right of members.

On the other hand, Justice Omereji did not just end at granting all the prayers of Aguma, he went beyond the bounds of Aguma’s prayers to impose him Caretaker Chairman of the Rivers APC.

Expressing shock over the ruling, Eze wondered where Omereji derived the powers to override not just the APC but the Nigerian Constitution to declare Aguma Chairman of Rivers APC against the wishes of stakeholders members.

Eze recalled that the leadership of the Port Harcourt City Local Government Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has sometime in February, 2020 disowned Aguma based on his reckless, ill-conceived and malicious conduct against the leader of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State (the Hon. Minister for Transportation) and the All Progressives Congress.

Eze quoted the Port Harcourt leadership of the party through her leader, Hon. Nwuche of stating thus: “Without mincing words, we wish to state in very clear terms that Igo Aguma’s reckless behaviour in recent times came to us as a rude shock. Consequently, we hereby disown him and his cohorts”.

The statement further reads: “that Igo Aguma’s latest onslaught against the leader of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, the Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, who has been of immense help to him and members of his family speak volume of his kind of person. We know as a fact that the Hon. Minister for Transportation has favoured Igo Aguma in the areas of political appointments, contracts, and financial support than the rest of us in the Port Harcourt Local Government. It, therefore, beats our imagination that the same lgo Aguma will unleash such manner of attack(s) on his benefactor on the pages of Newspapers. To this end, we remind him of the old saying that “it is unethical to bite the finger that feeds one.”

The part Chief noted that Aguma’s success in politics was made possible by Mr. Chibuike Amaechi, who appointed him (Aguma) Commissioner of Sports, else Aguma had no place in politics.

Eze maintained that Aguma has since lost his membership of the APC after he was disowned by the LGA leadership of the party. The party stalwart quoted, Hon. Nnamdi Nwuche, the Leader of the party in Port Harcourt City as disowning Aguma thus: “the party arrived at the decision of disowning Aguma after wide consultation with the stakeholders of the party that he (Aguma) would henceforth cease to be part of the party in the LGA. We thought Hon. Igo Aguma was one of us, but it is clear that he is one of the molls planted in the party. He is no longer part of us. Anywhere we are sitting he is no more to be with us”.

The party disclosed this decision at a world press conference after the 53rd stakeholders meeting of the 20 wards of the party in the area and it is on record.

Eze queried the basis on which the court imposed an ostracised Aguma as the Sole Administrator of a party which membership he has lost haven connived with the opposition to implement the satanic agenda of the Peoples Democratic Party and some external forces that feel that Amaechi is a threat to their 2023 Presidential aspiration.

It becomes sad that Justice George Omereji who is expected to retire from the Bench in few days time should be used to deliever such a hatchet job of imposing a disowned member of the party as the Sole Administrator of the party in a State like Rivers. This judgement is not only strange, unconstitutional, horrific and satanic but also a miscarriage of Justice and therefore unacceptable as it is unheard of in a democratic setting.

“the court judgement of 9th June, 2020 is a miscarriage of justice and against all known norms of natural justice and that it will not stand because an imposter can not lead the State chapter in any form”. Eze said.

“I am a strong believer in natural justice which is supreme, I wish to urge all and sundry not to be bothered of all these gangups as it will amount to a hoarse. It is just matter of time.”

Eze reiterated that Hon Aguma is Wike’s lackey and a mole planted to destabilize APC but assured party faithful to remain calm as this ‘setback’ will assist to strengthening the party to forge ahead in its vision of not only reclaiming the State come 2023 but to bring hope and sanity to governance in Rivers State.

Eze explained to his friend, Chief Nyesom Wike that his strategy of using Aguma for the plot has backfired.
“The plan to use Aguma to install a stooge to succeed you to continue the enslavement, impoverishment and underdevelopment of Rivers state and her people has backfired and will certainly not hold water”.

Eze accepted the mandate of the court that the party should allow members of the party loyal to Senator Magnus Abe, who purchased form for the congresses of the party in 2018, to take part in the Congresses of the party whenever it will be held but disagreed over the denial of interested members to vie for offices, stressing that it negates the rule of equity, equality and natural justice.

He further averred that imposing a well known lackey of Governor Nyesom Wike to lead APC in a bid to implement Wike’s agenda is an excerise in futility.

Eze educated in advance, those who may query his stand – that as the National Publicity Secretary of the defunct nPDP and a member of its National Executive Council, he was one of those that midwifed the formation of APC and should be in position to state who among some of the current noisemakers who are truly members of the APC in Rivers State.

Eze concluded by stating that, “When a court of justice fails to use the court to do Justice, it seizes to be a court of Justice but a bakery of iniquity and does not deserve the respect and obedience of the people”.

Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, In The Face Of Took Many Attacks And Assult

0

By Benson Nwachukwu,

Chief Eze chukwuemeka Eze,no longer need introduction in the media world and in the politics of Rivers state and South South Nigeria.

Chief Eze,is one man that have raised the bar for himself by constantly defending the Rt hon chibuike Rotimi amaechi and RS Apc.

Even in the face of verbal and media attacks and name calling Chief Eze have remained resolute in defense of democracy and his principal AMAECHI.

For this reason I can never be tired of paying public tributes to Chief Eze,for his role in oppositing those opposed to AMAECHI and Rivers State APC.

Chief Eze chukwuemeka Eze, have done all genuine Apc members of Rivers state proud, and I salute him with all my heart.

His media bombardment have inclined the heart of millions of Rivers people to want to flock into Apc.

Chief have performed very well in providing, vigilant articulate, but at times tantalizingly intractable. He supply the stuffs of which democracy is made.

Through his media bombardments, he have made it difficult for wike led Rivers government to be complacent, officious or high-handed.

THE SINS OF CHIEF EZE CHUKWUEMEKA EZE.

1.His sins are that he is putting his time and sweat in defense of AMAECHI and Rivers Apc,And by so doing he have ran out, so many politician’s and date boys out off recognition.

2.He is providing quality and credible opposition to Chief wike led Rivers state government, particularly his recent call on governor wike to make judicious use of the N78.9 billion refund to Rivers state government on the projects executed by Rt HON CHIBUIKE ROTIMI AMAECHI when he held sway as Rivers Governor.

3.His fighting tirelessly through the media to insuring that sen Magnum Abe and his Lieutenants do the needful by tolling the part of Peace in rebuilding Rivers Apc.This are some of his sins.

I read on social media and on the pages of news papers, even through the radio and television stations, wherein governor wike addressed Chief Eze as that Igbo boy,and some highly placed Rivers sons says,He is not from Rivers state, and so many other name calling, all because he strongly believe in AMAECHI.

If I may ask,is it a crime to be an Igbo man,or is it no longer his right to freely live in any part of Nigeria, including Rivers state, and do his business unrestricted. Is supporting AMAECHI now a sin,or have it becomes an offence for one to defend his party.while I wait to get the answers

I will employ those, responsible for this too many attack and assault on this harmless and innocent Nigerian to realise that Nigeria is one nation under God,so we should be free from tribal and ethnic parochialism and lead in the crusade towards the realization of a national greatness

And let Nigerians regard politics as a game and not a life and death affairs.

May God continue to bless Eze chukwuemeka Eze, for all his good works and defense of democracy.may God also grant him good health and sound mind to continue in this media struggle to save Rivers Apc,

Above all,if defending RT HON CHIBUIKE ROTIMI AMAECHI , former governor of Rivers state, minister of transportation and leader of Apc Rivers state,is seen as a crime may he continue to commit it.

Who Will Probe The National Assembly Committee Chairmen On NDDC?

0

By Aghogho Badaseraye

It will be recalled that sometime in November 2019, the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari ordered a forensic audit of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to rid the Federal Government interventionist agency of the Niger Delta of the corruption allegations and financial impropriety that bedeviled it.

It is these allegations and mudslinging that led to series of court cases that stopped the inauguration of the board that was nominated by various leaders and stakeholders and cleared by the 9th National Assembly. No sooner had the reconstituted and enlarged Interim Management Committee (IMC) of the Prof. Pondei which replaced that of the embattled Dr. Joi Nunieh’s IMC settled down to work under the supervision of the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Sen. Godswill Akpabio than the cries of financial impropriety started drifting from the National Assembly calling for the probe of the IMC over an allegation of fraud and misappropriation of N40 billion within a period of three months.

The call for probe of the six months old IMC is seen by many Niger Deltans as a diversionary ploy to frustrate the successful completion of the forensic audit which will cover the 19 year period of the existence of the NDDC.

In self defense, the IMC speaking through its Executive Director Projects, Dr. Cairo Ojougboh had denied the allegations of the National Assembly as baseless and a ploy to frustrate the efforts of the IMC and expose the complicity of the Senate and House of Representatives Committee Chairmen on NDDC.

The National Assembly has hinged its argument of the need to probe the IMC on the time tested legal maxim of “nemo judex in causa sua” which simply means that one cannot be a judge in his own case. The IMC on the other hand is relying on another legal maxim that he who comes to equity must have clean hands” and the position of the IMC seems to be the opinion of most stakeholders of the Niger Delta.

There is an allegation bordering on corruption and fraud on both the Senate and House Committee Chairmen of the National Assembly, rather than investigate the allegations by the IMC of the NDDC, the National Assembly are playing to the gallery by sweeping the weighty allegations of corruption under the carpet and going for the jugular of the IMC.

If the National Assembly is determined to probe the Six month old IMC, who then will probe the alleged wrong doings of the members of the NASS? It should have been more equitable for the National Assembly to investigate the allegations against its members, encourage and support the forensic audit under the management of the IMC and the supervision of the Honourable Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, then in its response know if actually the IMC or the Senate and House of Representatives Committee Chairmen were complicit or not rather than the rat race probe the National Assembly has entangled itself in.

In the IMC’s revelation through the Executive Director, Projects (EDP) Dr. Cairo Ojougboh did not at any time accused and/or indict the National Assembly as an institution rather it was the Chairman Senate Committee on NDDC and his House of Representatives counterpart that were mentioned, how come the National Assembly is taking it upon itself to respond to the allegations levelled against individual members of the National Assembly rather than allow the persons accused to answer to the allegations of the Commission?

Does the oversight function of the National Assembly also include protecting its erring members from questioning or it grants them immunity as provided in Section 308 of Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended)? No! I don’t think so, if that be the case, the “distinguished” senators of the federal republic and “honourable” members of the National Assembly should tow a path of honour by allowing by resting in their oars as far as the probe of the IMC is concerned till a time such as the forensic audit would have been concluded before the probe of the IMC is commenced whether it will be necessary or not. The National Assembly should not only do what is right and just but it must be seen to do what is just as that alone can build the confidence of the people of the Niger Delta about the genuineness of the intention of the APC led federal government to develop the Niger Delta region which had been neglected by series of government in the past and indeed the confidence of all Nigerians on government and governance.

The Niger Delta must be given the opportunity to develop at an accelerated pace to get its pride of place as the hen that lays the golden egg of the entity called Nigeria. Shielding people from investigation on allegations of wrongdoing whether true or false is surely not the way to go. The people being accused are not ghosts, they are Nigerians in high places with positions of authority and making laws for the smooth running of our country, it is therefore not right for the laws they make not to be tested, at least the National Assembly must at time live up to it’s billing by rebuilding the peoples’ confidence and support the anti-corruption campaign of Mr. President a trustworthy one that will make Nigeria stand tall among the comity of nations.
