The Delta State Peoples Democratic Party has expressed its profound gratitude to all party faithful for the peaceful and successful conduct of its Ward Congresses, which took place on Saturday, April 30, 2022, across all the Wards in the State.
According to a press release signed by the PDP Delta State Publicity Secretary, Dr. Ifeanyi M. Osuoza, he also warmly congratulate all its Ad-hoc delegates who emerged at the end of the exercise, by the rules and guidelines stipulated by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and enshrined in the constitution of our party.
The statement read, “We equally wish to thank members of the Congress Committee for a job well done.
“With the peaceful and successful conduct of the Ward Congresses, we have taken another major step towards ensuring that the forthcoming Primaries of our party for all elective positions, which commences this month, will be free and fair as promised by His Excellency, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and in line with our avowed pledge of providing a level playing field for all our aspirants.
“We enjoin all party members, especially the aspirants and their loyalists, to remain peaceful, law-abiding, and to continue to exhibit the same high level of maturity and party unity, for the remaining Congresses, the statement concluded.
