 As a Journalist and Publisher who has been reporting Niger State Government for years, I went to Minna today to take a glance looks at the giant eagle projects being given urgent attention by Governor of Niger State, Dr. Abubakar Sani Bello.
These projects with many of them having direct benefit to the people and were bone out of the desire to respond to the peoples need so that at the end, it would serve its purposes.
For instance, the Dualization of Broadcasting road in Minna was bone out of the need to strictly address the notorious traffic gridlock that has became a constant and fervently nightmare for motorists as well as traders.
I also visited the on-going rehabilitation of Const. of 37.2km Wuya-Suman-Lemu Rd in Gbako LG.
I also took a walk trip to witness the Baida – Minna over 45km Reconstructed and most parts of problematic Suleja – Minna Road Axis.
I saw the road reconstruction of Chanchaga/Tagwai Dam road, which started from Tungan Goro and which also suffered a successive neglect over the years despite its numerous economic potentialities.
I wonder how this road that lead to state natural dam, with strategic economic importance was neglected. The 10km road has already reached an appreciable level of completion and work is currently on-going.
From there, I saw the Niger State Road Maintenance Agency (NIGROMA) staff carrying out maintenance work on major roads in the city of Minna as always whenever there is a pavement failure.
Tunga Low-cost Garima Axis is another road project I appreciate. Staff of FFS Fire engine Zone G Command appreciated this road because of easy movements anytime there are fire outbreaks.
Minna – Suleja is now 50 minutes due to reconstruction of that road.
The state government under the watchful eyes of Dr. Abubakar Sani Bello, has completed the 3 Span Bridge Along Suleja – Abuchi – Izom Road.
Finally, I pass through Magama Local Government Area to see the complete Bridge at Tungan Jika.
Dr. Abubakar Sani Bello is undoubtedly a leader that leads by example. He is a leader that believes more in actions than words
