The Department of State Services (DSS) has announced the dismissal of 115 personnel as part of ongoing internal reforms within the agency.
In a statement, the Service reiterated earlier warnings regarding dismissed officers Barry Donald and Victor Onyedikachi Godwin, noting that some former personnel continue to falsely pose as serving operatives to engage in fraudulent activities.
The DSS cautioned members of the public to avoid any official dealings with individuals claiming affiliation with the Service without proper verification, stressing that those dismissed no longer have any ties to the organisation.

“For clarity, the identities of the affected persons have been published on the Service’s website,” the statement added, directing the public to its official portal for confirmation.
The security agency urged Nigerians to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities involving anyone claiming to represent the DSS without authorisation.
