The Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, CP Kanayo Uzuegbu on Wednesday, 31st January 2024, received and interacted with the newly posted Commandant of Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps, Commandant Cyprian Ehi Otoibhi, who paid him a courtesy visit in his office at the State Headquarters, GRA, Enugu.
In a statement signed by the Enugu State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Daniel Ndukwe said that while warmly welcoming the Commandant to his office, the CP assured him of sustained collaboration and a close working relationship, noting that the synergy between the Police and the Corps remains immutable as far as public security and safety in the State are concerned.
The Commandant earlier informed the CP that he was in his office to identify and familiarize himself with him, in view of strengthening the existing cordial working relationship the Corps has with the Police in the State. He, therefore, requested for a more effective collaboration between the police and the Corps.
The Commissioner was joined by members of his management team to receive and interact with the visitors.
