The immediate past Governor of Bayelsa State, His Excellency, Chief Henry Seriake Dickson, has hailed the Traditional ruler of Twon Brass, HRM, King Alfred Diete Spiff, who turned 78 on Thursday.
Chief Dickson said that King Spiff, the Chairman of the Council of Traditional Rulers, Bayelsa State and the Former Military Governor of the Old Rivers State, has contributed in no small way to the development of Bayelsa, old Rivers State and the Niger Delta!
Chief Dickson was quoted as having said in a statement by his Media Advisor, Mr. Fidelis Soriwei, that the Royal father has continued to be a major factor in the development and stability of society.
Chief Dickson prayed to the Almighty to continue keep the icon in good health as he serves God and man.
“I congratulate my father and leader, His Royal Majesty, King Alfred Diete Spiff, the Chairman of the Council of Traditional Rulers, Bayelsa State, and the Former Military Governor of the Old Rivers State as he clocks 78 today.
”My family and I join countless well wishers, your family and friends to celebrate you on this special day.
”I wish you many more happy returns in good health as you continue to be of service to God and to humanity’” he said
