A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and erstwhile National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New People’s Democratic Party (nPDP), Chief Eze Chukwumeka Eze, has expressed a warm felicitation to Dr. Israel Eze, the Media Aide to the erstwhile Governor of Rivers State and immediate past Minister of Transportation, over his new home after a successful wedding ceremony in Port Harcourt, Saturday, December 10, 2022.
In a statement made available to media houses in Port Harcourt, Eze described Dr. Israel as an amazing, articulate and extraordinary personality with a compelling strength of character who has continued to wax within the political circle and legacy of his boss and Principal.
Chief Eze who is still recuperating from a health challenge said Dr. Israel has stayed with Rt. Hon. Amaechi since his days as the Speaker of the Rivers State House Assembly through his tenure as both Governor of the State and Minister of Transportation and all the while, his sense of philanthropy is commendable and worths a mention. The undisputable fact is that Dr. Eze is more of a son to the Amaechis than a Media Aide.
His art of giving is totally unprecedented and his donations to the less privileged and other charitable works such as the installation of borehole and other social amenities at Port Harcourt, Abuja and athis home town speak for the nature of person this character is
Out of all the ladies who pleaded for his hand in marriage, Eze said beautiful Ozioma Okoro, who is a medical/public health professional was the lucky one and the wedding took place at St. Paul’s Cathedral in Diobu, Port Harcourt December 10, 2022.
Chaired by former Governor and ex-Minister Amaechi and his wife the event was well attended by the creme de la creme within Rivers State especially from the Rivers and national APC and visible amongst them are Dr. Dakuku Peterside, erstwhile Director-General, Nigeria Maritime Administration And Safety Agency (NIMASA), Pastor Tony Cole, the Rivers State APC flag -bearer, Hon. Azubuike Nwanjoku, Dr Chukwudi Dimkpa Rivers State Reps in NDDC and of course, Chief Emkea Bekee the APC State Chairman amongst others. HRH Eze Ben Oriaku. Dike 1 of umudike ukwu, Deputy Chiarman Ikwuano Council of Traditional Rulers, Abia State, was the father of the day.
According to Dr. Eze, “One thing I have always asked God to give me in a Woman was the women that will support the work of God in my life especially in the charity of touching lives of the indigents. A task which has been part of my life Someone who understands God and has much value for humanity.
Here I present to you a good soul, an amazing woman, a kindhearted one and so loving. I know it is a new journey but with God we will make every opportunity that God gives to us impactful.
