Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State on Wednesday met All Progressives Congress leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, over the forthcoming APC governorship primary in Ekiti State and the 2023 Presidential poll.
The Ekiti State Governor’s visit was to pledge his support to Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu’s Presidency and assure him that his rumoured presidential ambition was deliberately fabricated by those who wanted to cause a rift between him and Asiwaju.
Fayemi also assured Asiwaju that he had no anointed Aspirant in Ekiti Governorship race as rumoured in some quarters.
In a telephone chat with Head Media and Publicly MOB campaign group about whether or not Senator Bamidele wants to step down from the governorship race.
He said it was totally untrue and being paraded by clout chasers and social media trolls who may be doing it for mischievous reasons.
MOB campaign group Media and Publicity however stated categorically that Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele is still in the race to Win come January 27 and June 18, 2022.
Stating that no amount of propaganda can intimidate MOB’s established and growing popularity among Ekiti people and the whole Ekiti APC family.
