FCT Police Command Arrests Suspected Looters

The FCT Police Command in furtherance with its unswerving effort to protect lives and property within the Federal Capital Territory, has arrested twelve suspected looters on Thursday 29th October, 2020 along Gosa-Lugbe axis.

In a press release signed by the FCT Police Command Public Relations Officer, ASP Yusuf Mariam, she said that the suspects who took advantage of the current situation, were arrested during a joint patrol at an estate in Gosa while attempting to escape with looted items.

According to ASP Yusuf Mariam, the suspects are: Abubakar Hassan 32years, Jibirin Musa 19years, Mohammed Mohammed 19years, Abdul Ibrahim 18years, Shamsudeen Idris 25years, Yusuf Mustapha 28years, Mohammed Yusuf 18years, Shaibu Usman 38years, Abubakar Salisu 19years, Haruna Bello 35years, Sadiq Musa 18years and Abu Lawal 18years all male.

While urging residents to remain law-abiding, the Command Spokesperson said that the suspects will be arraigned in court upon conclusion of investigation and reiterated its unwavering commitment to the protection of lives and property within the FCT.
