The Police Command of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has launched a strategic operation to rescue the three persons kidnapped on Tuesday 6th October,2020 in a farm along Kabi axis in Pegi-Kuje.
In a press release signed by FCT Police Command Public Relations Officer, ASP Yusuf Mariam, she said that the Command enjoins members of the public to remain calm, while it intensifies effort to liberate the victims unharmed and reunite them with their family members.
ASP Yusuf Mariam further said that the Commissioner of Police has initiated a manhunt to trail and apprehend the fleeing suspects.
“While urging residents to be security conscious and promptly report all suspicious movements, the Command wishes to reiterate its unflinching commitment to the protection of lives and property in the Federal Capital Territory, the statement concluded.
