FCT Police Parade 19 Suspects For Various Criminal Offences

Police in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja have paraded 19 suspects for various crimes including murder, armed robbery, kidnapping, car theft, conspiracy and cultism.

The FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Babaji Sunday, who paraded the suspects at the FCT Police Command in Abuja on Tuesday, said assorted weapons including dry leaves suspected to be Indian Hemp were recovered from the suspects.

The weapons include 5 Locally Made Pistol, 46 Unexpended Ammunition and 3 Cartridges.1 car, 1 iTel phone, 1 Machette, 1 burglarous metal metal stolen from different parts of the FCT.

The suspects paraded include a 26-year-old man, Abdulsalam Ibrahim, Fidelis Ezekiel 27 and Philimon Hussaini 22 were arrested in connection to the gruesome murder of the deceased duo of Dr Obisike Donald Ibe, a 37 years old male medical doctor working at Zenith lab and kidney center, and his friend and housemate, Ezekiel Edoja, aged 31 years, both of Games Village Estate Abuja.

Another gang of six who specialize in robbing filling station were arrested after the Anti-one Chance Unit of the Command SCIID painstaking investigation led to the arrest of Chief Brown, 45 years; Ikechukwu Udejo, 35 years; Salisu Haruna, 38 years; Emeka Onyedekachi, 30 years; Abdullahi Musa, 27 years and Useini Mohammed, 41 years.

Other cases includes the parade of suspects who sole a Black Toyota Camry Car RCC Construction Company; Culpable Homicide committed by one Muhammed Abubakar , aged 22 years, who voluntarily confessed in a written statement to have stabbed the deceased, one Mohammed Usman a farmer while working on his farm land; arrest of wanted kidnappers, Shuaib Usman, and Sani Auwal; arrest of a cultist, one Emmanuel Anyaja, a 28 years old male of Dutse Alhaji Area, Abuja; arrest of suspected armed robber, Ishaku Danladi, a 21 years old male and CONSPIRACY and armed robbery committed by three suspects namely; Sunday Johnson, 35 yrs, Luka Joseph, 39 yrs and Uchenna 37 yrs respectively.

The FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Babaji Sunday said that all the suspects will be charged to court upon completion of the investigation.

CP Babaji Sunday said that the successes recorded so far by the Command was due to its daily reorganization of the security architecture to match up and subdue the ever evolving dynamics of crime and criminality.

“Our efforts are doubled, Commitment increased and passion stirred up to pursuing the course of bringing crime and criminality to the barest minimum in the FCT,CP Babaji said.
