The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has appealed to the public for assistance in identifying a young boy found unconscious following a suspected hit-and-run incident in Abuja.

According to the Command, the incident was reported on December 10, 2025, when two Good Samaritans, Mr. Naziru Ibrahim and Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed, discovered the boy—believed to be between 12 and 15 years old—lying unconscious near the Apo Roundabout transformer at about 8:00 p.m. The duo immediately transported him to Sahad Hospital in Apo Resettlement, where he is currently receiving medical care but remains unconscious.

Efforts are ongoing to establish his identity and locate his family or guardians.

The FCT Police Command is urging residents with any useful information to contact the Police Public Relations Officer on 07038979348 or report to the nearest police station.

The statement was signed by SP Josephine Adeh, Police Public Relations Officer, FCT Command, on December 12, 2025.
