FCT Security Spokespersons Forum Holds Strategic Meeting To Enhance Inter-agency Coordination

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Security Spokespersons Forum has convened a strategic meeting aimed at strengthening collaboration and improving communication among security and emergency response agencies operating within the territory.

According to a press release signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, FCT Command, Coordinator, FCT Security Spokespersons Forum, SP Josephine Adeh, the meeting, held on Thursday, 31st October 2025, at the Federal Fire Service FCT Command Headquarters in Kubwa, Abuja, brought together Public Relations Officers and spokespersons from various security organisations.

The session focused on enhancing public awareness, information management, and operational synergy through improved inter-agency communication and coordinated messaging. interagency

Participants highlighted the critical role of timely information sharing and unified communication in boosting operational efficiency, public confidence, and overall service delivery within the FCT.

Agencies represented at the meeting included the Nigeria Police Force, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Federal Road Safety Corps, Nigerian Correctional Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, and the Federal Fire Service, among others.

Members resolved to sustain the collaboration beyond the meeting through continuous engagement, joint training, and public enlightenment initiatives to foster a safer and more informed Federal Capital Territory
