The management of FreshNEWS Multimedia Group has congratulated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC for his victory in last Saturday’s presidential election.
In a statement issued in Abuja on Wednesday signed by its Chief Executive Officer, Desmond Utomwen, the media organization noted that the former Lagos State Governor got votes from every part of the country in testimony to his pan-Nigerian status.
The media group with footprints across print, film production, broadcast media, and public relations/ advertising consultancy added that the victory of Tinubu in the presidential poll is a due reward by Nigerians for his well-acknowledged contributions to the development of democracy in the country.
The media company said Tinubu has over the years displayed his deft management skills, political acumen, industry, and innovativeness as the governor of Lagos for eight years, thus placing the state on a trajectory that has continued to make it the leading destination for investment in the country.
“Indeed, Lagos State has become a trailblazer for many states because of the foundation you laid as governor from 1999 to 2007.
“We also note the ingenuity you displayed in helping to put together the ruling APC and the victory of the party in 2015. We do not doubt that you will bring the same deftness, dedication, and selflessness to the task of governing our country.
“As a media group, we are confident that Nigeria will witness a great turnaround under your leadership. The mandate given to you by Nigerians is to make Nigeria the envy of its peers around the world in all ramifications. We do not doubt that you will excel in this task.
“ We pray for your success as you embark on the task on this seemingly arduous task of turning our dear nation around.
“We also appeal to other contestants and their supporters to embrace peace and join hands with the winner of the presidential contest for the advance of our country on all fronts. No ambition is worth the blood of any Nigerian, as one of our former presidents said at a like this in the past.
“Let’s explore all legal avenues to address whatever grievances we may have about the election and we should all realize that there will always be another time we can put ourselves forward for electoral contests.
