The hope and the light in your face gives me joy. To every child that is here, I want to ask you a question: If you had an ability for technology, what kind of innovation will you develop that will make your school better, that will make your family live better, that will make Nigeria better?”
Bishop Akpe also stressed the need to encourage children to explore, learn, and be creative and called on parents and teachers to reaffirm their commitment to mentorship and guidance to unlock the greatness within every child.
Mrs. Comfort Adeniyi, Assistant Head Teacher of King’s Nursery and Primary School, commended the organization for the efforts put together to achieve a successful celebration for the children. “Parents and children, they should look out for a day like this. For such a day where they can come with their kids. Sometimes, we even need to learn outside the classroom. We’ve actually learned a lot. I’ve met other schools there, I see what they can do, and I hope to go back and improve on some of the areas I don’t have in my school.”
The event was filled with goodies, entertainment, and fun activities, making it an unforgettable experience for the children. The Treasure Island Children’s Day Fiesta has become a flagship event for Red Sapphire Nigeria Limited, showcasing the company’s commitment to supporting education and child development in Nigeria.
