The Governor of Gombe State, Gov. Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya (Dan Majen Gombe) has approved the appointment of Chairmen and Members of State/Local Governments and Wards Committees on the Distribution of Fertilizer for the 2022 farming season in Gombe State.
According to a press release on Monday, 1st August 2022 signed by the Secretary to the Gombe State Government, Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, the State Government Committee are:
(i) Alh. Alhassan Mohammed Fawu (Baraden Tangale) Billiri Local Government Area – Chairman
(ii) Honourable Commissioner,
Ministry for Local Govt. & Chieftaincy Affairs – Member
(iii) Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Agriculture & Animal Husbandry
(iv) Hon. Commissioner, Ministry of Finance & Eco. Dev.
(v) Mr. Maina Laban Binus (District Head of Jessu), Balanga Local Government Area
(vi) Abdullahi Ibrahim Jalo (Castic)
(vii) Mal. Bala Sarki, Director Special Services & Political, Office Secretary to the State Government- Secretary
