Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has expressed grief over the demise of Alhaji Yayaji Ahmed, popularly known as Yayaji Candos who died yesterday in Abuja after a protracted illness.Â
In a press release on Monday, 3rd January, 2022 signed by the Director-General (Press Affairs) Gombe Government House, Ismaila Uba Misilli, he said that the Governor, in a condolence message, described the death of Alhaji Yayaji as a huge loss, not only to his family, but the state in general.Â
He lamented that the late Yayaji died at his prime when hopes and expectations were high on him for greater heights and exploits as a business man and vibrant young man with penchant for the progress and development of Gombe State.
He consoled his family members and associates to take solace in the fact that the deceased left behind good records and lasting imprints that will continue to linger in the hearts of the people.
Governor Inuwa conveyed the condolences of the Government and people of Gombe State, praying Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and grant him Aljannat Firdaus.
