The Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has approved the appointments of Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi as Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Ismaila Uba Misilli as Director-General (Press Affairs), and Dr. Mu’azu Shehu as Director-General (Research and Documentation).
According to a press release signed by the Permanent Secretary Government House, Gombe, Barr. Balarabe Poloma said that all the appointments take effect on June 1, 2023.
Recall that Governor Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State won the March 2023 governorship election for a second term in office. Gov. Yahaya of the All-Progressives Congress (APC) polled 342,821 votes to beat the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Muhammad Jibiri Barde, who scored 233,131 votes.
