Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State who is also the Chairman North Central Governors Forum NCGF has condoled with his Delta State counterpart over the deaths of his father and the majority leader of the Delta State House of Assembly.
Governor Sani Bello who in a statement described the situation as double tragedy and a grieving moment to his colleague as well as the people of the State, said in circumstances like this, only God who knows everything can console the people of the State.
”It is indeed a sad and grieving moment to be physically separated from two great people in a State at close intervals. However, despite the pain of their deaths, we should not lose focus on God who gives a takes life”, he added.
The NCGF Chairman prayed God to forgive all the short comings of the deceased and grant rest to their souls as well as give the Government and people of the State the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
The Father of the Delta State First Man Chief Arthur Okorie Uzoma Okowa died at the age of 88, while late Tim Kome Owhefere the Majority Leader who was representing Isoko North Constituency of Delta State died at the age of 57.
