Governor Inuwa Approves New Appointments

Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, (Dan Majen Gombe) has approved the appointment of 2 Special Advisers, Deputy Chief of Staff,  Senior Special Assistants and Special Assistants.

According to a press release on Tuesday, 24th May 2022 signed by the Director-General (Press Affairs) Gombe Government House, Ismaila Uba Misilli , he said that the Secretary to the State Government,  Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi who conveyed the Governor’s approval, announced Arc. Habu Mohammed Shinga from Yamaltu Deba Local Government as Special Adviser on Social Investment Programme; Mohammed Shettima Gadam from  Kwami Local Government as Special Adviser Rural and Community Development  and Daniel Timothy from Shongom as Deputy Chief of Staff (Gombe South).

The SSG also announced the following as Senior Special Assistants I ( SSA1): Rt. Hon. Abubakar Mohammed Kunuwal from Yamaltu Deba LGA (Legislative Affairs);  Hon. Buba Lamido from Kwami LGA (Civic Engagement) ; Hon. Mijinyawa Mohammed Tilde from Funakaye LGA (Rural & Community Development); Hon. Garba Barambu from Gombe LGA (Environment & Sanitation) and  Habib Hassan (Special Duties).

Also,  Yusuf Al-Yusra and Rabi’u B. Goro have been appointed as Senior Special Assistants II (New Media) while Hon. Garba Yakubu (Walin Pindiga) and Mohammed Gurama Dukku are appointed   Senior Special Assistants II on Public  Communication and Inter-Governmental Relations respectively.

Other Senior Special Assistants II as announced by the SSG are: Hon. Yakubu Ahmad (Physically Challenged Persons);    Apolos Paul Kalatau and  Yarmas D. Hantoro.

Similarly, Adamu Wuri Lubo from Yamaltu/Deba LGA, Annuri Adamu Labbaika from Gombe LGA and  Yila Maidawa from Billiri LGA have been appointed as Senior Special Assistants.

The Governor has also approved the appointments of the following as Special Assistants: Jami’u Ibrahim Aminu

( SA Students, Gombe North); Lakwanjang Sa’idu  ( SA Students, Gombe South) and Adamu Muhammad Hinna ( SA Students, Gombe Central)

All appointments take immediate effect.
