Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has approved the appointment of new Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, and Special Assistants into various portfolios to strengthen governance and service delivery in the state.
The Secretary to the State Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, who conveyed the Governor’s approval, said the appointments are in line with Inuwa Yahaya’s ongoing efforts to enhance coordination and public engagement, as well as strategic integration of grassroots stakeholders in policy execution and development planning.
The list of appointees is as follows:
1. Abubakar Abdullahi (Habun DK) – Special Adviser on Agriculture and Farmer-Herder Coordination
2. Alh. Muhammad Saleh Jauro (Jauro Hammadu) – Senior Special Assistant II on Public Communications
3. Mrs. Euphemia Chizoba Obio-Okeke – Senior Special Assistant II on Community Relations
4. Hajiya Hannatu M. Ibrahim – Senior Special Assistant II on Community Relations
5. Aminu Abdullahi Musa – Special Assistant II ( Political)
6. Abubakar Musa Bojude – Special Assistant II (Political )
7. Usman Baba Mohammed – Special Assistant II (Political)
8. Hajiya Amina Abubakar – Special Assistant II on Women Mobilization.
9. Dahiru Mohammed Umar – Special Assistant II (Political)
10. Ibrahim Bapparu (Kala) – Special Assistant II (Political )
11. Umar Abdullahi Rambo – Special Assistant II (Political)
12. Adamu Mohammed (Maja) – Special Assistant II ( Political)
13. Musa Aliyu – Special Assistant II (Political)

All the appointments are with effect from 22nd May, 2025.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya expects the new appointees to bring competence, loyalty, and dedication to their new roles in the service of Gombe State and its people.
