The Special Adviser to the Governor of Bayelsa State on Legislative Matters, Hon. Alfred Belmote Watson who hails from Okpoama in Okpoama Kingdom of Brass LGA, has purchased JAMB forms for students from the kingdom as each of the compounds in the kingdom was given a slot. According to Hon. Watson, the purchase of the JAMB forms which is just the first stage of the academic journey was conceived as part of his educational support initiative to his community and people.
The selection process was carried out by the President of Okpoama Kingdom Youth Movement, Mr. Attah Iniekailanyo Leon alongside the compound Chairmen, and supervised by the Media and Publicity aide to the Special Adviser to the Governor of Bayelsa State on Legislative Matters David Ebiekimiete Daniel Ayah
The Okpoama Kingdom Youth President, Mr. Attah Inie – Leon commended the Special Adviser for coming up with such a laudable initiative to reach out to his people, especially in the educational advancement of the Kingdom and encouraged him to continue in this spirit as he has done in the past.
