IGP Egbetokun Commissions Police Operational Assets Donated By Lagos State Government

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olukayode Egbetokun on Thursday attended the Lagos State 18th Annual Town Hall Meeting on Security, where he addressed the citizens of Lagos State and joined the Governor in commissioning operational assets for the Nigeria Police Force, including over 260 patrol vans, ballistic helmets, bulletproof vests, and more, donated by the Lagos State Security Trust Fund.

According to the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, this initiative represents a significant advancement in the State Government’s efforts to strengthen security operations throughout Lagos State.

“Security is vital for maintaining economic stability and community safety, and it remains a top priority for us in Lagos. We are resolute in our commitment to enhancing safety for all Lagosians.

“We also extend our gratitude to our partners in the private sector for their unwavering support of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) in our mission to ensure safety throughout Lagos, Sanwo-Olu said.

These initiatives mark a crucial step towards transforming the living conditions of police personnel and reinforcing the commitment to public safety in Lagos State and beyond.
