The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has approved the deployment of the Force Public Relations Officer, DCP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, as Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the Department of Operations, Delta State Command.
According to a statement issued on Wednesday, the posting reflects the confidence of the Force leadership in DCP Adejobi’s wealth of experience, professionalism, and capacity to strengthen operational strategies in the Command.
IGP Egbetokun commended DCP Adejobi for his outstanding service as the spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, noting his commitment, professionalism, and significant contributions to enhancing the image and communication framework of the Force. He expressed confidence that Adejobi would replicate the same dedication and excellence in his new assignment.
Meanwhile, the Force Headquarters disclosed that arrangements are being finalized for the appointment of a new Force Public Relations Officer.
