#InternationalWomensDay: NEMA DG Celebrates Nigerian Women

On 2025 International Women’s Day, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) paid a moving homage to Nigerian women, recognising their important contributions to society, especially in the field of disaster relief.

The Director General of NEMA, Mrs. Zubaida Umar, said in a statement that the organisation takes pride in honouring the achievements of women in all professions. Today, we pay tribute to the outstanding accomplishments of women in all fields of human endeavour, particularly disaster relief. She stated that their contributions are priceless and deserving of praise.

Your strength, resilience, and dedication inspire us all.” Mrs. Umar gave warm wishes to Nigerian women as part of the agency’s celebration, emphasising their strength, resilience, and dedication as sources of inspiration for everyone.
