Kashifu Inuwa Outlines Plans for Building Resilience In Nigeria’s IT Sector

The National Information Technology Development Agency’s (NITDA) Director-General, Kashifu Inuwa, has presented the organization’s strategy for the growth of Nigeria’s IT industry, emphasizing the development of resilience in the face of difficulties.

At the “CONNECT THE DOT’S CONFERENCE,” which took place on Thursday at the A-Class Event Centre in Abuja with the theme “Igniting Resilience and Empowering Youth,” Inuwa made this statement and emphasized the need for resilience on the part of all industry stakeholders.

According to him, NITDA is working on several projects to make sure that the nation’s IT sector is robust and resilient in the face of difficulties.

“We must be resilient in the face of challenges, and this is particularly important in the IT industry,” Inuwa said.

“We are working on various initiatives to promote resilience in the sector, including the establishment of IT hubs in universities, and the promotion of local content development.”

In addition, he emphasized the role that digital transformation plays in fostering resilience, saying that NITDA is trying to make sure that more Nigerians have access to digital skills and technologies so they can become more adaptive to the rapidly evolving digital ecosystem.

The audience responded favourably to Inuwa’s remarks, and many stakeholders expressed support for NITDA’s initiatives to encourage resilience in the IT industry.

In addition, he reaffirmed the agency’s dedication to creating a robust and long-lasting IT sector in Nigeria and promised to collaborate with pertinent organizations to meet its objectives.

While many other speakers at the event applauded NITDA’s enormous strides and described them as an important step towards building resilience in Nigeria’s IT sector, they expressed hope that the agency’s initiatives would result in a stronger and more resilient industry in Nigeria.
