It was a story of “little beginnings and the rise to grace” at the Grand Square where internationally recognized ace photographer, Oluremi Olalere officially declared open, the Head Office of the King Flash Photo Studios at the Grand Square, located at the Central Business District of the Federal Capital Territory in Abuja, the Nation’s capital.
The event was a cocktail of testimonies of “Little beginnings in purposefulness, grace, mercy and divine intervention” from God Almighty, from the Olalere family as the audience; a mixed grill of close family members, friends and associates listened to his story and challenges encountered in his journey of life.
The King Flash Studios, located at the third floor of the Grand Square, is the studio of class for lovers of quality service with the unique touch of an exquisite brand of photography for its teeming clientele that cuts across the rich, the political and business elite and of course, all lovers of clear, clean and beautiful pictures. With an air of calm, fine pictorial background, this photography studio is poised to take its rightful place as the destination of choice for all true lovers of top-notch pictures.
Speaking on the sidelines of the event, Oluremi Olalere, Chief Executive Officer of King Flash Photo Studio, attributed it all to God’s divine grace and mercy. “Who am I to be this blessed? I am a child of God who many did not give a chance of becoming what I am today. I can only give Him thanks and praise for where he has brought me this far today”, he sang in praise.
The testimonies of Oluremi and his wife, Mosunmola Bolajoko drew emotional tears from the invited guests, as he told of how it all began; from his early years as a commercial bike rider in Suleja, Niger State. His struggles as a young, focused and determined photographer whose passion to excel in his art of photography took him through the journey of life that has now culminated in his current status and position with an office in Lokogoma, Abuja (Suite D3 Faith Plaza) and of course, the Suleja office (Sidi plaza, Beside Old NEPA) Niger State where the whole story began. With close ties to several prominent political figures in Nigeria and Liberia, he disclosed that he has been able to set-up two studios in Liberia where interns are trained free of charge, and a strong relationship with the government of Liberia.

King Flash spoke about his relationship with the former Liberian President, George Weah and how they share a common birth anniversary, his ties with some political figures at the ECOWAS. He revealed how his work as a diligent and honest photographer provided him with the opportunity of being the person who produced the official photographs of the incumbent President, Joseph Boakai. The humble and visionary King Flash says Nigerian youths must learn to remain focused, patient and be determined in achieving what they believe in and shun the fast ways of life as it brings ruin to those who cling to it, thinking that is the way to go.
He showered praise on his prayerful wife, Mosunmola, his associates and friends who stood by him through thick and thin believing in his ability to make it in the very competitive space of the photography business.
Tasked on how he was able to get to this commendable level in the business, King Flash attributed it to God and his ability to remain focused. He disclosed that, “I struggled with the challenges of life, managed my resources. When I met my wife, who is my prayerful and dependable partner, we toiled through it all to this level we have found ourselves today, and, with God and some very supportive and lovable people by our side who believed in the works of our hands, this is the story before you.”
He called on the government in Nigeria to provide training opportunities for the youths as many have passions, skills that are yet untapped while urging youths to shun fast ways of making money that do not last. He admonished youths to avoid living a fake life.
In an emotional but brief chat, Mrs. Mosunmola Olalere attributed everything to the mercy and favour of God Almighty. She showered prayers on her beloved mother for her overwhelming support and faith in her when many had queried her decision to leave the comfort of life in Lagos to settle down with “an obviously unknown and struggling photographer in Suleja in spite of her already guaranteed job in a government ministry in Lagos.”
