The Lagos State Police Command has congratulated and felicitated Dr Ayo Ogunsan on his well-deserved appointment as the Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
In a statement issued on Sunday, November 2, 2025, the Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Jimoh, described the appointment as a testament to the Governor’s confidence in Dr Ogunsan’s dedication and invaluable contributions to the security development of Lagos State.
According to the statement signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Abimbola Adebisi, Dr Ogunsan has, over the years, demonstrated exceptional selflessness, integrity, and a deep commitment to strengthening the State’s security architecture.
“The Commissioner of Police is confident that Dr Ogunsan, as a distinguished member of the LSSTF Board, will bring his institutional knowledge, strategic insight, and proven leadership to bear in steering the Fund towards greater operational efficiency,” the statement read.
The Command further noted that Dr Ogunsan’s longstanding collaboration with security agencies across Lagos has positioned him well to further enhance public safety and security across the State.
While expressing optimism about his tenure, the Command reaffirmed its readiness to sustain and strengthen its partnership with the LSSTF under Dr Ogunsan’s leadership.
“The Lagos State Police Command is proud of Dr Ogunsan and warmly welcomes his appointment. We look forward to deepening our operational synergy in ensuring the continued safety and protection of all residents and visitors in Lagos State,” the statement added.
