The National Woman Leader of Labour Party, Mrs. Dudu Manuga, has reiterated her commitment to deliver Peter Obi as Nigeria’s next president come February, 2023.
Mama Labour, as she is popularly called, stated this when she held an interactive session with leaders of Labour Party women groups across the world. The meeting which took place at the Labour Party secretariat in Abuja also had participants join in from across the globe via the Zoom network platform.
Mrs. Manuga appreciated the overwhelming love and selfless support of Nigerian women all over the world extended to Peter Obi and the Labour Party leadership drive in Nigeria and assured them that their efforts will not be in vain as, according to her, Obi is the God-sent messenger to deliver Nigerians from their sufferings.
She addressed all their concerns and appreciated their goodwill which she promised to harness in ensuring that Labour Party takes the day and provide the desired leadership Nigerians yearn for.
Earlier, in her opening remarks, the FCT Woman Leader of Labour Party, Mrs. Ngozi Doga, thanked the National Woman Leader for the opportunity given to the women to express their solidarity with the Labour Party and their presidential ticket at the new year. She commended the women for turning up in their numbers despite the short notice. Mrs. Doga also condoled with Mrs. Manuga over the unfoturnate loss of her husband recently and prayed for the repose of his soul.
