In 2014-2015 when the full hammers, assaults and powerful claws of PDP, coordinated by all our Ijaw and Ogoni Militants, descended upon then Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, His followers and indeed the entire Rivers Community, one of the evidences adduced was the shattered Building attached here (See: Pics).
Mr. Magnus Abe was all over the media crying and raising sentiments how Wike had coordinated the bombing of his Campaign Office in Bori, Capital of Ogoni Nation.
Mr. Abe mobilised the people to a protest in Bori;
In that protest, we saw people like Kadilo Barina Kabari (now a Royal Highness) , Thomas Bariere , now Khana LGA Chairman-elect, Elvis Lebura Ikoma, now on AWOL, Kennedy Friday, then bearing an iPad, our late youth President, Comr. Isaac One (Eleme Youth Council) , to mention a few. Protest was taken to Bori Police Divisional Hq. , to register the people’s angst at the sad development.
Abe was insistent on his logic that Mr. Nyesom Wike, then a junior Minister and representative of Patience and Goodluck in Rivers State, was behind the bombardment of his Bori Campaign Office.
Fast forward, we also heard Mr. Abe (there is live video) telling Ogoni people that Wike was responsible for the underdevelopment in Ogoni land, alleging Wike made away with funds released for projects in the land as Chief of Staff. Wike himself had earlier accused Magnus Abe of carting away contract funds meant for Bori Saakpenwa road.
The cap of all these is that Ogoni, and indeed Rivers people, were deceived by Magnus Abe and Wike, and this is part of the reasons why Amaechi never saw this deceiver of a man, not even the Wike, who came through Patience Jonathan and our Ijaw/Ogoni Militants, as worthy successors.
Today, we have heard on radio, Mr. Magnus Abe in cahoots with his original friends in PDP, sponsor a jingle , raining all sorts of praises on Wike , for his ‘numerous projects in Ogoni land’, and their preparedness to receive the Governor in a grand style.
This is same Magnus who;
-Never wanted APC Revalidation/ Registration of old and new members in Rivers State,
-Fought against APC in 2019 from partaking in the the ballot, since he wasn’t chosen by Amaechi.
This same Magnus Abe is a board member of a parastatal appointed by APC Government.
Let us not believe that some APC Stalwarts in Abuja are using this man to negotiate the ceding of the party to PDP ahead of 2023.
Well, Rivers State people and particularly Ogoni, know those political underhands making lives perpetually miserable in the land.
CONCLUSION:
Magnus Abe, Please, who bombed your Campaign Office in Bori, I wish to ask again?
Abe, so, you lied to Ogoni people?
Abe, so, you think Wike will adopt you against Lee Maeba, the way Amaechi did in the past?
Dear Mr. Magnus Abe, You may have deceived us in the past, and made away with it, THE PEOPLE ARE WISER NOW.
