Maikaya Development Foundation Honoured for Unwavering Support To Nasarawa Students

In recognition of its consistent dedication to student welfare, the Maikaya Development Foundation (MDF) has been honoured with the prestigious Award of Excellence as the Most Student-Friendly Supportive NGO in Nasarawa State.

The award was presented during the Students Outreach Program hosted by the Isah Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic (IMAP), marking a high point in the institution’s efforts to foster student support through partnerships.

The foundation’s recognition follows its generous donation of food items and cash during IMAP’s “Campus Feeding” initiative. MDF’s Chief Operating Officer, Comrade Shuaibu Sani, led the presentation of the items, which included several bags of rice and cartons of noodles, aimed at easing the economic burden on students and ensuring their well-being on campus.

Speaking on behalf of the student body, the Face of IMAP, Comrade Daniel Bilkisu, lauded the Foundation for its enduring commitment to students’ needs. She highlighted MDF’s annual scholarship scheme, distribution of learning materials, and other educational interventions as life-changing initiatives. Students, she said, remain deeply grateful and committed to supporting MDF’s humanitarian mission.

The Maikaya Development Foundation, under the leadership of its visionary CEO, Dr. Muhammed Maikaya, continues to operate with the mantra “Leaving No One Behind.” The foundation’s focus on educational and community empowerment has made it a beacon of hope across Nasarawa State.

This latest accolade underscores MDF’s growing reputation as a dependable ally of students and a key player in advancing grassroots development in the region. The foundation has reaffirmed its commitment to deepening its impact on the lives of young Nigerians through sustained outreach and empowerment programs.
