A boy whose age cannot be ascertained but close to 2 years was found around Heavenly Gate area, Owode, Ede on Saturday, 24th February 2024 by a man coming from night vigil around 5:10 am and was taken to a central mosque in the area for announcement and was also taken to Owode Ede’s palace for whoever that was looking for a missing child to identify and claim him but nobody has shown up yet.
In a statement on Monday, 26th February 2024 signed by the Civil Defence PRO, Osun State Command, ASC Adeleke Kehinde, said that the boy is now in the custody of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Osun State Command, Ido Osun, Osun State.
“Anyone whose child is missing should come to NSCDC, Ido Osun, with valid evidence, the statement concluded.
