Nasarawa CP Receives 136 New Police Constables, Deploys Them For Combat Operations Training

The Commissioner of Police, Nasarawa State Command, CP Shettima Jauro Mohammed, psc, mnips, has received 136 newly passed-out police constables deployed to the Command by the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM.

In a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Ramhan Nansel, the newly recruited officers have been immediately sent on a three-week Combat Operations Course at the Police Mobile Force Training College, Ende Hills, Nasarawa State. The training aims to improve their weapon-handling skills, tactical awareness, and overall operational efficiency.

Addressing the officers before their departure, CP Shettima charged them to remain disciplined, professional, and committed to learning throughout the exercise. He expressed appreciation to the Inspector-General of Police for his continued support and the deployment of a large number of personnel to the Command.

According to the Commissioner, the new deployment will significantly boost the Command’s operational capacity and strengthen security across Nasarawa State.
