Nasarawa State Police Command Engages In Community Service To Mark National Police Day

As part of activities commemorating National Police Day, operatives of the Nasarawa State Police Command have carried out a community service and sanitation exercise in Lafia, Karu, and other major towns across the state.

According to a press release on Thursday, 3rd April 2025, signed by the Nasarawa State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Ramhan Nansel, this initiative aims to promote environmental cleanliness and strengthen the relationship between the police and the public.

The sanitation exercise took place at key public locations, including motor parks, markets, and other designated areas, ensuring a cleaner and healthier environment for residents.

Addressing participants, the Commissioner of Police, CP Shetima Jauro Mohammed, commended the police personnel for their dedication to the exercise. He also encouraged members of the public to embrace regular sanitation practices as a way to maintain a clean and healthy community.

The Nasarawa State Police Command remains committed to fostering community engagement and enhancing public safety through such initiatives.
