The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has donated food items approved by President Muhammadu Buhari for Distribution to vulnerable persons and victims of flood Disaster in Nasarawa State by officials of NEMA North Central at Lafia, the state capital.
The items were received on behalf of the state Government by Director Admin and supply Ismaila Ahmed and Executive Secretary Nasarawa State Emergency Management Agency.
Ismaila Ahmed commended NEMA for the gesture, noting that it would go a long way to reduce the plights of the flood victims.
Recall that 11 local government areas were affected in Nasarawa State which included Awe, Toto, Keana, Doma, and Nasarawa, while other flash points were Eggon, Keffi, Obi, Lafia, Wamba, and Karu LGAs.
