NBET boss Dr. Marilyn Amobi whose tenure expired today came to the office today, pretended as if she was preparing to hand over to her successor but suddenly left the office this evening without doing so. Sources say she rushed to the villa crying and begging for a week’s extension but was chased out. This is the kind of impunity that is witnessed daily in the Buhari government.
This is a woman that ought to be answering questions in the courtroom for her alleged multiple corrupt practices. As at 9pm the entire staff were still waiting in the office to see whether she would return to hand over.
They have vowed to chase her away if they find her anywhere around NBET office on Monday.
