NDA 47 Regular Combatant Course Holds 30th Reunion Anniversary In Abuja

The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) 47 Regular Combatant Course has marked its 30th reunion anniversary, three decades after its members joined the military.

The celebrations opened with a fitness walk in Abuja, from Aguiyi Ironsi Cantonment and back, with senior officers and their families participating.

Chairman of the Central Organising Committee, Commodore Ahmad Abubakar Madawaki, described the gathering as historic, noting that it was the first time members were meeting since leaving the Academy.

The three-day programme includes a Juma’at service, family hangouts, sporting events, a health talk, and an annual general meeting, culminating in a reunion dinner. The first Commandant of the course, Air Marshal Alamin Dagash, is expected to attend as Special Guest of Honour.

Commodore Madawaki also conveyed his best wishes to course members for continued career success, promotions, good health, and lasting friendship.

The reunion will conclude on Sunday with a thanksgiving church service.
