Governor Abubakar Sani Bello led Administration recently constructed a standard laboratory in Minna General Hospital, an ultra-modern Medical laboratory facility in the state capital, the laboratory is a significant investment in the health sector.
The NGSG also announced the employment of laboratory professionals to avoid poor quality tests, misguided use of tests, & faulty interpretation of results & making sure it provides a standard of healthcare in the State& Nigeria at large, while still ensuring that it is affordable.
The laboratory is fully equipped with a diagnostic center with the latest international-standard diagnostics amenities such as an Automatic Tissue Processor for the screening of cancer and also a diagnosis of cancer, the first of its kind in Niger State.
This development will mean that residents of Niger state will no longer need to travel to Zaria, Abuja, and other places for cancer screening. It can now be accessed in Minna General Hospital through which the cost of access to health will be lowered for Individuals.
Governor Sani Bello reassures the people of Niger State that he will continue to do what is in the best interest of the people and make sure he builds a system that will endure even after his tenure.
