The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), an agency under the ministry of Communications and Digital Economy has been ranked 1st (First) in the 2019/2020 Federal Government Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR) scorecard for ranking websites of Ministries, Departments and Agencies.
While receiving the award, the Director General/CEO NIMC, Engr. Aliyu A. Aziz, thanked the organizing committee of BPSR, and assured of the Commission’s commitment towards delivering its mandate under the supervision of the Honorable Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Dr. Ali Isa Ibrahim (Pantami).
The recognition couldn’t have come at a better time, as the Commission recently recorded another feat by ranking 3rd (Third) in the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) Transparency and Accountability index of 55 Federal Government of Nigeria regulatory agencies.
Engr. Aliyu Aziz dedicated both awards to Staff while noting that the unrelenting dedication and hard work of Staff made the achievements possible. He assured that the Commission will continue to strive to keep up the good performance rankings while fulfilling its mandates, and looks forward to surpassing this year’s accomplishments in the coming years.
