The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has sent out important information to candidates that want to write UTME/DE that before they proceed to register for the 2022 UTME, to kindly check the status of your National ldentification Number (NIN) by dialing 346# from the mobile line used during enrollment.
According to a banner sent to the media by NIMC Spokesperson, Kayode Adegoke, it says that If candidate’s NIN is not verified, they can kindly send a mail containing their NIN and full name to: nimc-jamb2022@nimc.gov.ng
Then they can wait for at least four hours and dial the code again to get confirmation. Then they can go ahead with their 2022 UTME registration.
Recall that NIN has been made compulsory for JAMB 2022 by the Joint Admission Matriculation BoardÂ
