The promotions form part of the statutory performance reward system for staff who met the required conditions as stipulated in the Public Service Rules (PSR).
According to the breakdown, two staff members were promoted to the Director cadre (Grade Level 17), while eight officers advanced to the rank of Deputy Director (GL 16). Thirty-five staff members were elevated to the Assistant Director cadre (GL 15).

She reiterated the Commission’s zero-tolerance stance on extortion and warned staff to strictly desist from such practices.
The DG/CEO further encouraged all NIMC staff to redouble their efforts in 2026 to ensure the successful implementation of the National Identification Number (NIN) project. She also reaffirmed her commitment to prioritising staff welfare and upholding the dignity of labour across the Commission.
