The Northern Renaissance Network (NRN) has commended the Federal Government for its timely renewal of the Crude-For-Naira agreement, emphasizing that this decision is a significant step towards bolstering Nigeria’s economy and improving the welfare of its citizens.
In a statement released today by the program’s Director, Agada Abu Theophilus, the NRN urged the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) and the Dangote Group to collaborate effectively to ensure the swift implementation of this crucial agreement. The organization highlighted the importance of both entities leveraging their strengths to maximize the benefits of the deal for the nation.
The NRN expressed gratitude to the NNPCL for its commitment to addressing the needs of Nigerians and for its determination to establish itself as a leader in the oil and gas sector.
With the recent appointment of Mr. Bayo Ojulari as the new Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPCL, the NRN called on him to build upon the foundation laid by his predecessor, Mele Kyari. The NRN expressed confidence that under Ojulari’s leadership, the NNPCL would continue to foster innovation and drive sustainable growth within the industry.
