Osun NSCDC Commences Training For Newly Recruited Personnel

The Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Osun State Command, Commandant Emmanuel Ocheja, has urged the newly recruited personnel to efficiently perform all tasks given to them during the training as this would help them to be highly skilled in the service of their fatherland in a bid to put an end to the numerous security challenges presently confronting the country.

According to a press release signed by the Public Relations Officer, Nigeria Security, and Civil Defence Corps Osun State Command, ASCII Atanda Olabisi, she said that Commandant Ocheja gave this charge while addressing the newly recruited personnel who commenced their training on Monday, 4th April 2022.

Commandant Ocheja commended the Commandant General, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi mni, for the timely recruitment of fresh hands into the system to defend their fatherland. He said, “the recruitment and the training being imparted here would help curb incessant criminal activities in the country, as our dear nation is facing security challenges occasioned by the activities of Boko Haram terrorists, armed bandits, kidnappers, vandals, and other criminal activities”.

He, therefore, informed the newly recruited personnel that their mental, physical and moral alertness is highly needed as the prevailing insecurity can be surmounted by the collective resolve and efforts of everyone.

He advised that “during this training, put your certificates aside, obey all legitimate orders issued by your instructors, this is a regimented environment, it is a place different from where you are coming from. You are expected to be highly disciplined and obedient”.

Commandant Emmanuel Ocheja prayed and wishes them a fruitful training session.
