In a bid to achieve a robust digital economy, The Federal Ministry of Communications And Digital Economy and the National Information Technology Development Agency is set to Commission a Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics.
The commissioning which will take place on Friday, 13th November, 2020 by 11:00am, will see the Minister for Communications and Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Pantami as Special Guest/Chief Host
The newly completed Centre located at Wuye , FCT, Abuja is equipped with state of the art facilities.
These include: Digital Innovation Lab; Makerspace and Fablab Infrastructure; Printed Circuit Board Facilities; 3D Printer; Abuja MIT Reap office; Co-working space for startups and Training facilities.
Research has shown that by 2030, 800million jobs would be lost unless people up-skill and re-skill and 149 million new jobs would be created through Artificial Intelligence and other emerging technologies.
