The Benue State Police operatives on Saturday, 22nd April 2023 arrested one Ephraim Ternenge Iortser of Logo Local Government Area who was seen along the Taraba-Benue border wondering suspiciously.
According to a press release on Tuesday, 25th April 2023 signed by the Benue State Police Public Relations Officer, SP. Anene Sewuese Catherine said that during the investigation, the suspect confessed to having gone to the forest to liaise with criminal herders to pay him so that he can facilitate an attack on a village in Anyiin.
“Further investigation is ongoing to reveal more information about the suspect’s involvement in the recent attack and possible arrest of other suspects involved in carrying out such heinous crimes, SP. Catherine said.
