Police operatives attached to the Nasarawa Division have arrested two suspected armed robbers, Isaac Audu and Jamilu Yusuf, over an alleged case of criminal conspiracy and armed robbery in Nasarawa State.
According to a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Ramhan Nansel, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, Nasarawa State Command, and dated December 21, 2025. preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects, on December 20, 2025, at about 12:10 a.m., allegedly attacked a resident in the Foundation Area, behind the Federal Polytechnic Staff School, Nasarawa. The suspects were said to have been armed with a locally fabricated firearm during the attack, during which they dispossessed the victim of an unregistered Bajaj motorcycle.
The suspects were later apprehended following timely intelligence received by the police, which led to their trail and eventual arrest. During the operation, police recovered one locally fabricated firearm and the stolen Bajaj motorcycle as exhibits.

The Commissioner of Police in Nasarawa State, CP Shetima Jauro Mohammed, has charged officers and men of the Command to remain proactive and vigilant in the discharge of their duties. He also assured residents of the state of a peaceful and secure Yuletide season.
